Last week we saw the release of a first glimpse at the new Periphery album(s) when they dropped The Scourge on us. Now we’re being given a peek into the process of recording the songs with the first in a series of behind-the-scenes webisodes, the first of which centers on drummer Matt Halpern. It includes a bit of him recording, and then an interview with him and Nolly.
I will admit that even as a guitar player, I like watching drummers more than any other instrument, so it might be all downhill after this for me. Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to seeing more of these as they come out. I presume they’ll do one for each member, and hopefully more.
