As of late, you may have noticed that The Weekly Riff has been a whole lot “weeklier.” Which is a really good thing if you’re like me and take some joy in watching beastly musicians break down hot licks into chunks that are manageable for even plebs like myself.
This week, the one and only Chris Broderick teaches us the first riff from Act of Defiance’s new single, “Misinformation Age.” It rips. Seriously though, take your pick of any of Chris’s previous fretwork in Nevermore, Megadeth, or Jag Panzer; dude is on another planet. On top of all that, he’s a damn articulate teacher too.
