IN FLAMES Gets FLAWLESS Cover by Members of FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY/DARKEST HOUR/BLACK CROWN INITIATE/MOON TOOTH/NITESOIL

If you’re a fan of Gear Gods, there’s a very good chance you’re a fan of our friends over at Metal Injection! The mastermind behind it all, Frank Godla, has been blowing up the internet with his new Slay At Home series, in which he and his fellow metal friends cover songs by bands like Ozzy, Nitesoil, and Entombed! And to finish off Toontrack’s Metal Month strong this year, Frank and his friends in Fit For An Autopsy, Darkest Hour, Black Crown Initiate, Moon Tooth, and Nitesoil are here to cover “Episode 666” by the legendary In Flames!

Featuring Tim Howley of Fit For An Autopsy and Nick Lee of Moon Tooth on guitar, Nick Shaw of Black Crown Initiate on bass, John Henry of Darkest Hour on vocals, and Frank Godla of Metal Injection/Nitesoil on drums, we’re positive that fans of In Flames will not be disappointed with this cover. The killer drum sound they got is from Will Putney’s new Modern Metal EZX expansion for EZDrummer 2, and the sound is absolutely dead-on. Of course, the dudes killed their performances, because they’re literally in some of the sickest metal bands out there. And don’t forget to stick around after the performance for Frank’s tutorial on how he organizes these incredible Slay At Home covers!
