That’s right, our Guitarception: TesseracT Drum Challenge contest is coming to an end, BUT there is still time to enter! The contest ends on Sunday, December 2nd at 11:59pm EST, so be sure to submit your entry if you haven’t already. You can submit your entries and read up more on the contest HERE, but here’s a recap of the contest for you latecomers:
TesseracT guitarist Acle Kahney has written a guitar riff that needs drums to go along with it, and it’s up to you to come up with the gnarliest drum groove you can! As usual, when it comes to TesseracT, it’s a little tricky. The riff can be interpreted in numerous ways, so let your creativity run free on this one!
The rules to enter are simple: download all the materials you’ll need here and program the drums using software (like EZdrummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3) or if you’re a drummer, go ahead and play it on e-drums or acoustic drums! Don’t own any drum programming software? Download the free and fully working EZdrummer 2 10-day trial version here. Record your drum groove to the guitar riff and upload it to Soundcloud or YouTube (submissions may not alter the tempo or anything else about the guitar track). Then, fill out the form here and include the link to your submission.
TesseracT themselves will be judging the entries, so hopefully you can blow them away with your grooves! Prizes will include some must-have Toontrack metal awesomeness, there will be one grand prize winner and two runners-up, and the winners will be chosen after the deadline on Sunday, December 2nd at 11:59pm EST.Â
