Rigged – ARCHSPIRE

If there’s one thing I gleaned from filming this informative gear piece for Archspire is that they hate hair and love eggs. Also, piss. But as far as their gear is concerned, it’s all about Ibanez, Line 6, and Mesa/Boogie.

I enjoy their combination of preamp modeling into a tube power amp and guitar cab. It’s the perfect combination of classic and modern, and I can tell you that in person it is a very powerful sound. Their live show is really take-no-prisoners and they need to have their tones instantly accessible for their split-second patch changes, but also be loud in smaller venues that might not have massive PAs.
