I had the opportunity to try out the VH4 preamp pedal from Diezel amps at GuitCon this past October, and so without too much preparation, I sat down with my friend Frank Fleckenstein from Reverb.com and Gearcouch and did a little run-and-gun review of this very cool pedal. I think it sounded pretty awesome for a high-gain pedal (there are very few that I like) and it had flexible controls that give a range of tones.
