DAN SUGARMAN and ALEX CAMPBELL Are “Creatures of Circumstance”

We recently wrote about Dan Sugarman’s living album concept, where rather than release a collection of songs all at once in a standard album format, he’s releasing one a month as he finishes them on the Patreon crowdfunding platform, each with a special guest collaborator.

Today we are happy to premiere his collaboration with “tech n’ roll” band Seek Irony guitarist extraordinaire Alex Campbell, entitled “Creatures of Circumstance”. You can hear the whole song here, but if you don’t want to miss out on all the exclusive content, you’re gonna want to head over to his Patreon page and become a supporter today.

Go here to download the song and other premium content. Anyone who joins this month will get streaming access to all 4 previously released songs through a private Soundcloud link!

Here’s what Dan has to say about it:

“Creatures of Circumstance” is the third installment of my living album “Inside/Out“, which is available exclusively through Patreon – a subscription based platform that allows artists a type of freedom thatwe’ve never had before. “Inside/Out” is unraveling one song at a time, with a new release featuring a new collaborator each month, with 10% of proceeds going to charity.

With the help of those who have already joined my Patreon family, we have already raised hundreds of dollars for The National Brain Tumor Society, ALS.net, Domestic Childhood Abuse, and SmileTrain.org!

Physically affecting the world around me with the music that I make has been the biggest blessing I could ever receive – Thank you so much for watching this video! If you like what you’re hearing and would like to join the movement, head to http://www.patreon.com/dansugarman and pledge to get awesome things in return!

You can get the song download, playthrough videos/interview videos, podcasts, tabs, studio stems, guitar lessons, guest solos, and much more! Just head to the link and check it out… Hope you enjoy!

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
