I enjoyed Netflix’s Stranger Things just fine – wasn’t blown away by it, didn’t hate it, etc. One of the aspects of the show I truly did enjoy was the music, performed by members of new Relapse signees S U R V I V E. Despite what some Internet pundits have claimed, it’s one of the only aspects of the show that truly braces the analog, tactile nature of the movies that the show references/draws from. I.E., recorded with actual synthesizers, pillowed into the movie rather than bowling you over the head, etc.
Anyway, because it’s 2016, and the Internet has to fulfill its quota for metal covers of literally everything, here is a metal version of S U R V I V E’s title theme.
