If you like your death metal melodic and technical, Inferi are the band for you. With the release of their latest album, Revenant, in April of this year, the Nashville-based group have been hard at work promoting the record with all sorts of quality content. Most recently, they’ve graced the internet with this playthrough of the song “Smolder in the Ash” by bassist Joel Schwallier, and man does he slay. The complicated and unrelenting bass parts are riddled with all sorts of difficult techniques, and Joel powers through with absolutely zero fatigue. This dude’s the real dealio, so prepare yourself.
