When we ran down Revocation’s rigs last week, notably absent from our video was new drummer Ash Pearson, who joined their current Gear Gods-sponsored US headlining run a bit late due to work-visa issues. But now that is all sorted, and he’s back on the road with the band, laying waste to false riffs and Midwestern towns across the land.
Ash is really one of the great young drum talents, and the band are definitely in the sharpest live form they’ve been in years. You can get a small taste below, in the following drum playthrough of my personal favorite Revocation song, “Bound By Desire,” off the band’s 2012Â Teratogenesis EP.
