I’m not usually a fan of this style of djenty metalcore, but goddamn if I didn’t boogie down to Carle’s on-point foot technique in this playthrough for the song “Pennyweight” from the band’s 2013 Sumerian Records release, Wolves Within. Sometimes a syncopated guitar-bass-kick-drum is all you need to make a catchy groove. And dig how cool that left-handed tech-metal drum set up looks!
