Two Notes Audio Engineering has just introduced their new Steve Stevens Platinum Collection, modeled after tones used by the legendary Stevens himself. The collection features 5 hard-to-come-by and “certified classic” cabs in his expansive collection, used in his work with everyone from Billy Idol and Michael Jackson to the Top Gun theme of yesteryear.
“Devising Steve’s inaugural DynIR release demanded a special-recipe deserving of this icon in the modern world of guitar-driven virtuosity,” said Two Notes Audio Engineering of the release. “First, the venue: San Fernando Valley’s illusive state-of-the-art recording space, Studio 606. Next, the console: the legendary Neve 8028 recording console from Sound City. Then, the all-important cabinets: five hand-picked 4×12’s from Steve’s personal collection.”
