Strandberg has unveiled a new travel guitar at NAMM and it’s pretty damn cool. The guitar, dubbed the Boden Meloria, was developed in collaboration with bike maker Mason Cycles and was originally created after being suggested by cyclist Andreas Danielsson.
The video below showing off the guitar is extremely cool, too. Watch as the titanium guitar (loaded with a Lacer Alumitone pickup) is pulled out of a dude’s coat, plugged in, and is ready to go within seconds. It’s an extremely cool design that seems travel ready, but also unwilling to sacrifice any quality in achieving that.
“It plays and sounds amazing,” said Strandberg. “We were even surprised ourselves at how well it sounds. It has a pleasing resonance and it really plays and sounds like a real guitar.”
Keep your eyes peeled for more info soon.
