Solar Guitars is back with a handful of new models (when aren’t they?) and they’re all pretty spiky.
X1.6 C & AN
The X1.6 C and AN models offer an Evertune constant-tension bridge, Duncan Solar pickups, a set-thru neck/body joint design with 24,75” scale, Alder body, a thin Maple neck with an ebony fingerboard with 22 super-jumbo stainless steel frets, and Luminlay “glow in the dark” side dots for stage use.
The X1.6 C and AN are available here for $1,299.99 in Carbon and Anitique Natural finishes… hence and “C” and “AN” model names
X1.6 Cannibalismo+
The X1.6 Canibalismo+ is a lot like the above X1.6 models with a few differences thrown in. The X1.6 Canibalismo+ offers a Swamp Ash body instead of an Alder body, Duncan SolarPlus humbuckers for a hotter response, and a single volume knob alongside its three-way toggle pickup switch. Oh, and the bloody-as-fuck finish rules too.

X1.7 MP+
And finally there’s the X1.7MP+ in Metallica Purple finish. The X1.7MP+ offers a Swamp Ash body with a 25.5″ Maple neck and Ebony fretboard, 22 super jumbo stainless steel frets, and Luminlay side dots. The X1.7MP+ comes loaded with Duncan Solar Plus humbuckers and is available here for $1,499.99.
