Solar Guitars has given a slight update to their GC1.6 FAB model in the form of the GC1.6 AFAB.
For the most part, the AFAB is basically the same as the FAB – you got your Mahogany body with a Flame Maple veneer, an Ebony fingerboard on a C Shape Mahogany neck, neck-through construction, and Luminlay “Glow in the dark” side dots all finished off in a Flame Solar Amber Burst. Where the AFAB offers a bit of an update is that it comes with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, whereas the FAB came with Duncan Solar humbuckers. At the end of the day, it’s still a cool-looking guitar that pretty much sticks directly to its guns. Which is especially great if you dug the first iteration.
