Shabat Guitars has teamed up with the legendary Dweezil Zappa for a pretty unique-looking signature guitar.
The Lynx DZ is a reproduction of Zappa’s heavily modded Shabat Lynx model right down to the interestingly-configured pickguard. The Lynx DZ offers an Alder body, a Quartersawn Hard Maple “C”-shape neck with a 25″ scale, and a Vega-Trem VT1 Ultra Trem standard bridge.
Electronics-wise, the Lynx DZ comes with a Lollar Special S signle coil pickup in the bridge and middle positions with a El Rayo humbucker in the bridge. The Lynx DZ offers up CTS pots with Orange Drop capacitors, all wrapped in a Nitrocellulose Lacquer Black finish with plenty of wear.
The Lynx DZ is available here starting at $4,499.
