MESA/Boogie is bringing back that classic ’90s crunch with their ’90s Dual Rectifier. The ’90s Dual Rectifier is faithful recreation of the tube amp that redefined high gain alongside some welcome upgrades.
The ’90s Dual Rectifier offers up 100 watts of power through a variety of tubes – five 12AX7 preamp tubes, two 5U4 rectifier tubes, and four 6L6 power tubes. There’s also a Bias Select switch for stock 6L6 tubes or a swap to EL34 tubes, as well as Patented Switchable Rectifiers to go between tube or silicon diode rectification.
The ’90s Dual Rectifier offers up two fully-independent channels with three modes, allowing you to switch between everything from crisp cleans to that classic high-gain tone. Then of course there are two 3-band EQ, Gain, Master Volume, and Presence knobs for each channel alongside the option to switch between regular power and a lesser “Spongy” power.
