JHS is continuing their line of JHS Pedals 3 Series with the 3 Series Harmonic Trem and 3 Series Octave Reverb. Like all 3 Series Pedals, the trem and octave reverb offer a variety of tones and are available here for $99.
The 3 Series Harmonic Trem is designed after Leo Fender’s Harmonic Tremolo features in his Bandmaster and Vibrasonic amps amplifiers back in the ’60s. The Harmonic Trem allows players to emulate those tones with Volume, Rate, and Depth knobs alongside a toggle switch with toggle up being a great sounding amp trem, while toggle down is JHS’ take on harmonic trem effect.
Then there’s the Octave Reverb, which is modeled after some ’80s Brian Eno effects used with U2 on their Unforgettable Fire album. The effect mixed ambient reverb and octave effects in the reverb’s decay, and the 3 Series Octave Reverb is a take on that. The Octave Reverb is controlled by Reverb, Octave, and Decay knobs with a toggle switch to control octave up or down.
