Ibanez recently teamed up with legendary jazz bassist Gary Willis for a 25th anniversary edition of his signature model, and now they’re streaming a demo with the man himself!
The Ibanez GWB25TH offers an Ash body with a 3-piece Maple neck and KTS TITANIUM rods, an Ebony fretboard with offset white dot inlays, and that classic ramp right between the pickup and the end of the neck.
The Ibanez GWB25TH comes loaded with a passive Bartolini GWB bridge pickup controlled by a Bartolini NTBT 2-band EQ with push/pull EQ bypass switch. The bass is finished in a Silver Wave Burst Flat finish, and is available for pre-order here at $1,699.99. Now you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta go see how much I have left in my bank account. Well, that or maybe grab one of the cheaper and older models right here, both of which also rule.
