Ibanez and Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson have rolled out quite a few signature acoustics this year, including a budget-friendly version and a left-handed version. Now the duo have taken a hard left turn away from the acoustic world and into the world of 7-string electric riff purveyors.
The TOD70 Tim Henson Signature offers an American Basswood body, an Oval “C”-shape Roasted Maple neck, a 25.5″ scale, and an Ebony fretboard with 24 frets and Henson’s iconic Tree of Death inlay.
The TOD70 comes with a Gotoh T1527S tremolo bridge and then a Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature Series humbucker in both the bridge and neck positions. In addition to the Volume and Tone controls, there’s also a Fishman Fluence Voicing push-pull switch on tone control.
The TOD70 is available for $1,699.99 here. No word on that Scott Lepage signature model yet, but here’s hoping.
