How would 2024’s biggest hits sound if they were… SYMPHONIC METAL?

I thought they might sound pretty cool, so I decided to try it out.

Teddy Swims Lose Control and Benson Boone Beautiful Things were my 2 favorite pop songs this year, and so naturally I wondered to myself – can they be made better by adding symphonic metal?

So I used LALAL.ai’s stem splitter to isolate the vocals from each track, and then spent a grueling few days rebuilding them into epic symphonic metal in the style of Dimmu Borgir, Nightwish, and Septicflesh.

If you want to learn how to create music this epic, my new course Making Symphonic Metal with FREE VSTs drops soon, sign up here to get notified when it’s out!

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
