You probably know my love for telecaster-shaped guitars, especially 7 stringers, and how I lament the lack of available options for acquiring them. Jericho Guitars understands my pain and manufactures not only 6, 7 and 8 string teles, but long scale ones to boot. They also make a bunch of other models, that they make using a method called “ping-pong” manufacturing, where the bodies and necks are cut from Canadian wood in South Korean factories and then assembled in the US, allowing them to take the most advantage of outsourcing while retaining much of the quality of US made guitars (according to their website, I’ve yet to get to try one to confirm).
Hidden Hospitals plays Jericho guitars, and they talk a bit about why in this video, along with a demonstration of how they sound.
