Gibson has brought back their classic 1965 Non-Reverse Thunderbird bass model back, and it looks pretty great.
The new iteration of the Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird features a Non-Reverse Mahogany body and Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard and 20 medium jumbo frets. The Non-Reverse Thunderbird also features two Thunderbird-style pickups each equipped with its own volume control, allowing you to use them separately or to blend ’em together.
As far as hardware goes, the Non-Reverse Thunderbird comes equipped with a Graph Tech nut, 3-point adjustable bridge, Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines.
The Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird is available here in Inverness Green, Faded Pelham Blue, and Sparkling Burgundy finishes for $1,799.
