If you’re ever stuck for ideas, maybe give the new TATAT from K-Devices a shot. The TATAT is a MIDI plugin that generates new note sequences based on a variety of parameters chosen by the user.
The TATAT offers everything from note choices to a probability engine that allows you to choose how often two notes are hit at once. You can also add a velocity variation, a delay, set the length, randomize, and mute some notes. It’s easy and intuitive. And yes, you can export the whole stream as a MIDI file just in case there was something in there that you’re married to.
