Fender originally rolled out their Acoustasonic series at a price of $1,999 and higher. Now the brand has introduced a slightly more affordable Telecaster version of the acoustic-electric hybrid for $1,199.
The Acoustasonic Player Telecaster offers both a Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless and Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer pickup system, a 3-way switch for shifting between acoustic and electric tones, and a blend knob to select and blend each voice. The Acoustasonic Player Telecaster offers a Rosewood fingerboard and comes in Brushed Black, Butterscotch Blonde, Shadow Burst, and Arctic White finishes.
