Fender is celebrating the 60th birthday of their Jaguar model with two brand new iterations – the single coil 60th Anniversary Jaguar and the humbucker-equipped 60th Anniversary American Ultra Luxe Jaguar.
The 60th Anniversary Jaguar offers an Alder body with a short-scale 24″ C-shape Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, a Jaguar tremolo system, and F tuners. The guitar comes loaded with 60th Anniversary Jaguar single coils and offers both an engraved neckplate with 60th-anniversary logo and a custom hardshell case.
Then there’s the 60th Anniversary American Ultra Luxe Jaguar that features an Alder body, a Maple Ultra Luxe Augmented “D” neck with a 25.5″ scale and Ebony fingerboard, and two Custom Double Tap Humbucking pickups controlled by what Fender dubs an “Upper Slide-Switches for Double Tap Activation.”
