Fender has doubled up on its usual Pugilist Distortion and Marine Layer Reverb to create the Duel Pugilist Distortion and Dual Marine Layer Reverb. Because why only have one pedal when you can have two pedals, but at the same time?
First, there’s the Duel Pugilist Distortion pedal, which features the same distortion voicings found on the regular Pugilist pedal alongside new ways to combine them. The Duel Pugilist Distortion pedal offers Series, Mute and Parallel operating modes, allowing you to stack the distortions, blend ’em together, or use just one and replace the second slot with another pedal altogether.
