ESP LTD has given a bit of an update to both the Javier Reyes JR-7 and the Alan Ashby AA-1.
First up is the JR-7 for Javier Reyes of Animals As Leaders, which sports a 27″ scale length with a 5-piece Walnut/Maple/Padauk neck and Macassar Ebony fingerboard, as well as a Swamp Ash Body with Quilted Maple. The guitar comes loaded with a pair of Fishman Javier Reyes Open Core Humbucker pickups and Hipshot bridge with string-through body.
The JR-7 is available here for $1,999.
Then there’s the AA-1 for Alan Ashby of Of Mice & Men. The AA-1 offers a Mahogany body with a Mahogany neck and a Macassar Ebony fingerboard. The AA-1 comes with one, extra chunky EMG 81 Brushed Gold Humbucker for some serious tone.
