Ernie Ball Music Man originally introduced Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine’s signature guitar in 2016. Now they’re bringing it back in a handful of new colors, though with largely the same great look and tone.

The James Valentine signature features an Ash body with a bolt-on Figured Roasted Maple neck and 22-fret fingerboard. The Valentine comes loaded with a Music Man custom wound staggered pole piece single coil in bridge, and a humbucker with chrome or gold covers in the neck. The pickups are controlled by a three-way switch, as well as a volume control that offers a boost of up to 20db, and a coil-split tone knob for the neck pickup.

The James Valentine comes in either a hardtail or tremolo-loaded version. The guitar is now available Pink Champagne, Maroon Burst, or Tobacco Sparkle finishes starting at $2,699 here.
