Epiphone is rolling out their recreations of two Gibson Custom Shop Collector’s Edition models – the 1958 Korina Flying V and Explorer models.
The 1958 Korina Flying V offers a Korina 1958 Flying V-styled body and neck, and an Indian Laurel fretboard with 22 Medium Jumbo frets. The Flying V comes loaded with two Gibson Burstbucker pickups controlled by individual volume controls and a master tone control, as well as a three-way pickup selector switch. The 1958 Korina Flying V comes with either a black or white pickguard and is available here for $1,299.
Then there’s the 1958 Korina Explorer, which features all the same tonewoods and electronics as its Flying V counterpart… just in Explorer form. The 1958 Korina Explorer also comes with either a black or white pickguard and is available here for $1,299.
