Death By Audio has teamed up with the Austin, TX-based music festival Levitation for a trippy new delay pedal accurately dubbed the Speed Tripper. The Speed Tripper takes the concept of a regular delay pedal, throws an optical phaser in the feedback path of a delay circuit, and ends up sounding like it dropped a tab about an hour ago.
The Speed Tripper offers delay times of between 30ms and 1100ms, with longer delay times degrading as they continue to echo. The pedal also allows you to control the Tripper Speed, the Intensity at which the pedal feeds back, and the Blend of the delayed signal relative to the clean signal.
The Speed Tripper is limited to 666 pedals and is available here for $269.
