Darkglass Electronics recently introduced their new “clean head” Exponent 500, and is now streaming a pretty extensive demo of the unit with Rob Jones. The company is classifying the head as a Powered Platform, which they’re saying “once connected turns into a multi-effect, with fully programmable and presettable signal chains with all the components a professional bassist requires.”
The Exponent 500 is controlled by five EQ knobs, a Master volume, a Preset button to change through five different presets, and a Mute button. The Exponent 500 is controllable through the Darkglass Suite mobile app as well, including modeling different effects. Get an Exponent 500 here for $999.
