Blackstar is now streaming a brand new demo of their St. James 100 Head and Combo. And no, there’s no talking – it’s seven minutes of focus on all the tones you’ll be getting.
The St. James 100 Head clocks in at just over 22 pounds and offers a switchable, mixable power valve configuration – pick either two 6L6 or two EL34 valves for 50 watt, or go for the full 100 with both. The St. James 100 Head offers four footswitchable channels, six footswitchable voices, and a continuously variable power reduction down to 5% that still preserves all your tone.
The St. James 100 Head has an effects loop with effects level switch and series/parallel switch, USB audio output, XLR D.I. output, and of course a CabRig advanced DSP cabinet simulator.
Then there’s the St. James 100 Combo, which offers the same power valve configuration options alongside four footswitchable channels and the following footswitchable options – a Boost on the Crunch channel, a Tight voice on OD 2 channel, digital reverb, and a solo boost. The St. James 100 Combo also an effects loop with effects level switch and series/parallel switch, USB audio output, XLR D.I. output, and DSP cabinet simulator.
The Blackstar St. James 100 Head goes for $1,899.99, while the Combo goes for $2,499.99. Get both right here.
