The Micro-Aggressor is a a boost-style compressor that actively affects yor tone, instead of being more of a helpful passenger. The Micro-Aggressor offers up a transient attack while preserving the thickness and focus of your signal. This is especially useful when it comes to all your extended range guitarists.

As far as controls, the Micro-Aggressor keeps it pretty simple. There are four knobs:

  • Level, which controls amount of boost of the primary compression circuit
  • Clarity, which is a tilt-style equalizer focusing on high-end and clarity in clockwise positions, and warmth and thiccness in counter-clockwise positions
  • Bloom, which controls the amount of compression in the primary compression circuit, focused on character and feel
  • Smack, which adjusts the level of the parallel secondary compression circuit, focused on transparency and low-end impact
