The Laney IRT Pulse is a tube USB interface/preamp for your DAW. You can use it to re-amp a recorded DI signal without plugging in any extra cables (or “leads” as the English call them. What if you’re from Leeds, and you play lead guitar? Are they the lead’s Leeds leads?) so that’s convenient.

I’m intrigued to hear this wee box in real life, it seems like a cool idea and Laney’s amps are pretty spectacular sounding, so I can’t imagine it could sound bad, but…. it’s just so small! More on the story as it develops. Til then, enjoy this video explanation from NAMM.

As Editor-in-Chief of Gear Gods, I've been feeding your sick instrument fetishism and trying unsuccessfully to hide my own since 2013. I studied music on both coasts (Berklee and SSU) and now I'm just trying to put my degree to some use. That's a music degree, not an English one. I'm sure you noticed.
