At the GuitCon YouTuber convention in Germany, I met with a ton of interesting people. To call Colin Scott of CSGuitars a smart bloke is a bit of an understatement – he knows things I don’t even know to think about thinking about. Since his forte is electronics, I decided to ask him if he thought there were any boundaries left to explore in the world of effects – is there an effect that we haven’t discovered yet? Is it possible to find another flanger, delay, envelope filter? Is it even possible to imagine something else to do to a signal? We discuss.
