Mike Portnoy is known for his elaborate drum kits, which he dubs ‘monsters’ of various kinds – the Siamese Monster, the Purple Monster, the Mirage Monster, etc. Well, I think we can safely add the PokeMonster to that list, as Loudwire has carefully constructed this beast to Mike’s exacting specifications, and by that I mean they shoved two Pokemon child’s drum kits together to create a tiny double bass machine for Mike to play “Name That Tune”, just as he did last year on the Hello Kitty kit.
