We don’t write about oldschool thrash too much on this site, but I’m sure many of you had your phase (or are still in it!), as did I, where bands like Overkill, Destruction, Sodom, and Demolition Hammer were the entire universe.
So while digging through the mountain of drum cam footage that has dropped recently, I found these two little gems: Destruction’s Randy Black running down the classic “Nailed to the Cross” and Overkill’s Ron Lipnicki railing one of their recent tracks, “Bring Me The Night.”
Hats off to Black in particular for going the extra mile and compiling his video with footage from multiple angles (including POV!) and multiple shows from their Spring tour with Sepultura. Lipnicki’s performance, also featuring multiple angles, comes from a recent show in Poland. Enjoy!
