That’s right, harpist/violinist Gabriela Gutierrez recently performed the song “Marigold” off of Periphery‘s Periphery III: Select Difficulty entirely on a harp! The video features Gutierrez rocking out to a backing track of the drums, bass, and orchestration; essentially replacing the guitars and vocals with the lovely sounds of her harp skills. And the effect? Pretty damn impressive. We’re not sure what the process of transcribing guitar and vocal parts to a harp is like, but it would appear as though she’s mastered the art of doing just that.
