It’s one of the more fun contest ideas we’ve come up with, and only the most dedicated and creative of you will have a shot at winning this MASSIVE prize package.

The contest rules are simple. During the making of the Anygig review, I sampled every note on the guitar to make the demo you saw on the beach. I’ve made this into a little sample library, along with the corresponding videos, that you can use to write your own song and make a video to go with it!
When you’re done, publish your video on YouTube and send me the link at gearmortalsrigged@geargods.net!

If you edit in Premiere, I’ve already masked out the videos and included the project file for you to use. as well as a color-coded Pro Tools session if you use those. If you use other programs to edit and record, no problem, I’ve got all the raw files included for you as well. Keep your song short and sweet and to the point – if you write a prog metal opus you’re probably gonna regret it because it’s gonna take some serious editing to get these done.
To pick the winners, we’re going by Apples to Apples rules – there are no particular criteria for picking the winning entry, it’s just whichever one I like the best for whatever reason I decide. Be as creative as you want – make me laugh, make me cry, make me hurl, have fun, and in 30 days from today we’ll pick a winner!
