Like many of you, we’ve been chomping at Rosetta‘s new record Quintessential Ephemera. Full of rich atmospherics, a huge variety of guitar tones, multi-layered parts, and a slow-burn longplayer development, the album is sure to go down as one of the highlights of the year and the band’s career to date.
Surprisingly, for a band that puts so much thought and care into their studio and live rigs, they haven’t yet been covered by a gear site. Part one of our spotlight on the band focused on guitarist and Atomium Amps owner Matt Weed, and we continue now with guitarist Eric Jernigan. Eric is the newest member of Rosetta, and Quintessential Ephemera marks the first recording of the band as a five-piece.
Eric’s rig consists of a simpler board than Matt’s, but also includes a custom pedal designed by Atomium Amplification. Like Matt, Eric also plays a beautiful custom Electrical Guitar Company instrument, an all-aluminum Telecaster model. Apparently it wasn’t easy to get EGC to build this particular guitar, so check this deal out and salivate:
