SLAYER’s Gary Holt Shares Photos of “Final” Slayer Guitar

Slayer rounded out their absolute monster of a farewell tour cycle by ending it all this past November 20th at The Forum in LA. The setlist contained many fan favorites both old and new but let’s be honest… you knew they HAD to close it all out with “Angel of Death.”

In a recent Instagram post, guitarist Gary Holt uploaded some pictures of the ESP Eclipse guitar that he wielded for the entire final tour during Angel of Death. It has clearly seen some pretty brutal shows as it looks like it has a cracked neck in several places.

Some pics of “Angel”, the guitar used on Angel of Death for virtually every US performance of the song since the day these guitars were delivered, and a ton of other countries too. You can see the repairs made to ensure this baby finished her job and made it to the end, missing only two shows while the glue set. It played the final song, the final chords , that ended an era. Signed and ready to go on the wall! And I mean MY WALL!😆
