One of our favorite drummers and friends Alex Rudinger has been tearing shit up recently. In addition to serving time in the Faceless, Conquering Dystopia, and Ordinance, Rudinger helped out Revocation by acting as their go-to touring drummer after Phil Dubois was sidelined, and eventually left the band. We’re stoked that they went with Ash Pearson as Phil’s replacement, but do wonder what could have been had Rudinger been tapped as their permanent drummer.
Rudinger is keeping busy though – he’s set to start filling in on drums for tech-death giants Obscura on the Summer Slaughter tour over the next month. And in anticipation of that, metal’s leading man-bun model has dropped a playthrough video for “Anticosmic Overload” to give you a sense of just how overwhelming those shows are going to be.
