Not much for me to say on this one – I’m gonna let these videos do most of the talking. Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater set up a collaboration (as he is wont to do) with two world-renowned keyboardists – Eren Başbuğ and Marco Parisi – along with drummer Elijah Wood (yes really – he’s the son of electric violin shredder Mark Wood). It’s called OrKeystra, because puns.
They made their premiere at NAMM 2015, and they weren’t messing around – jamming some Dream Theater songs and original tunes, with all sounds supplied by their Korg Kronos keyboards and live drums. The result is something spectacular.
