Luke Fabian is one hell of a bassist – we’ve premiered his playing before with Pupil Slicer, and we’re doing it again with Infected Dead! This time around we’ve got Fabian shredding through “In Spaces Beyond”, one of the songs from the upcoming Infected Dead EP Invicta. It’s a ripper.
Following a lineup overhaul in 2024, the Kent-based five-piece regrouped with members tied to acts like Pupil Slicer, Dawnwalker, and Overthrow. Sharing stages with heavyweights such as Ingested, Vader, Immolation, and Pestilence, the band has spent the last couple of years refining their chemistry in real time.
The band’s forthcoming EP, Invicta, represents the culmination of years of ideas finally brought to life. Originally conceived in 2020, the material has evolved alongside the band itself, emerging now as their most ambitious and fully realized work to date.
Production duties were handled by V. Santura — known for his work with Triptykon, Dark Fortress, and Obscura — bringing a polished yet punishing clarity to the recordings. Check it all out below and pre-order Invicta here!
