We see a pretty staggering number of “supergroups” pop up these days, but I haven’t heard of a band do something quite like Conflux. With a core of guitarist Chase Fraser (Continuum, Animosity, Decrepit Birth) and drummer Tommy McKinnon (Neuraxis), the band features a staggering number of guest contributors that are more like “tag me in off the bench, coach” kind of role players, including members of Cryptopsy, Cattle Decapitation, Beneath the Massacre, Aborted, and more. So you know, if you like this kind of thing, then you’re probably pretty stoked.
