We’ve waxed poetic on this website before about how drummer Alex Rudinger (the Faceless, Conquering Dystopia) has a rad man-bun, and also has the chops to fill the massive hole left by injured Revocation drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne.
However, I was sad to see that Rudinger wasn’t really incorporated the bun into his performances with Revocation, so I jumped for joy when he posted an in-studio playthrough of “Madness Opus” off Revocation’s Deathless album, complete with bun. This is also my personal favorite tune off the album, so I hope you enjoy it!
Hopefully the below clip will inspire legions of drummers to grow their own man-buns, and to stop living in fear of the man-bun-privilege-machine that has relegated this style to the depraved corners of Colonial Hipsterburg.
