Spitfire Audio has just unveiled their first ever effects plug-in, the AIR Studios Reverb. The AIR Studios Reverb is an immensely detailed convolution reverb created in collaboration with the team at London’s iconic AIR Studios, and using Spitfire’s very own “Virtual Positioning Technology.”
The Spitfire engineering team have curated a selection of 54 presets to suit different instruments based on real life mixing practises, and to create a selection of standard reverb modes and spaces. Adjust the canopy height, material, hall layout and gallery dampening, and blend up to 8 individual true stereo signals to create a hyper realistic sonic experience.
The AIR Studios Reverb allows you to choose the position anywhere in the hall, adjust what direction any sound radiates within the hall, and select and mix between eight different True Stereo mic signals. You can also adjust the hall’s reverb characteristics with configurable hall settings and flip the direction of virtual performers and mic setups to match two key uses of the hall.
