Shure has expanded their line of studio headphones with two brand new models – the SRH440A and SRH840A.
The SRH440A Professional Studio Headphones are perfect for recording, editing, and mixing thanks to their uncolored sound response. The SRH440A offers increased isolation, a padded headband for extended use, and a closed-back design that rests comfortably over the ears and reduces background noise. The SRH440A comes with a detachable straight cable and threaded 1.4″ gold-plated adapter, and is available here for $99.
Then there’s the SRH840A Professional Studio Headphones, which are more for critical listening and studio monitoring. The SRH840A offers rich bass, clear mid-range, and extended highs thanks to their 40mm neodymium dynamic drivers. Then much like their SRH440A counterparts, the SRH840A feature a padded headband for extended use and a closed-back design. The SRH840A comes with a detachable straight cable, carrying bag, threaded 1.4″ gold-plated adapter, and is available here for $149.
