Peavey has once again teamed up with Misha Mansoor, this time for a bite-sized version of their usual Invective head.
The all-tube invective.112 combo electric guitar amp delivers a clean channel with a pristine clean tone, as well as a Lead channel with footswitchable Tight, Gate, and Boost functions. The invective.112 has built-in Reverb, a buffered effects loop, a 3-band EQ on Clean and Lead channels, and Master Resonance and Presence controls to faithfully replicate the invective.120 (but y’know, smaller).
The lead channel features a Boost circuit akin to popular pedal designs, providing expanded sonic flexibility. With two EL84 output tubes, three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, and 20 watts RMS of power, the invective.112 electric is solid as hell. The invective.112 also offers Peavey’s unique Microphone Simulated Direct Interface (MSDI) with XLR and USB output. Send a feed directly from the XLR output to the front-of-house (FOH), or flip the speaker defeat switch and silently record directly into your DAW.
